It is my belief that patience is the most important virtue in life.

Every day, we play the game of Death.

A bee’s sting is a thing of beauty. It gives its life to protect its colony. There is no greater sacrifice in nature.

There’s nothing like a walk through nature to mend a broken heart.

The moment of truth isn’t always as grand as the moments which precede it.

The Elder Scrolls

Today I’d like to show my appreciation to Bethesda Softworks for creating such an epic RPG series. If you haven’t heard the name “The Elder Scrolls,” you’re probably not much of a gamer.

When you think of The Elder Scrolls you probably think of one game in particular, which could be either Oblivion or Skyrim (not saying their predecessors weren’t good, they’re just outdated).

So, which one is it?

To be immune to pain is to be human. You just have to find the right mindset.

So I was browsing through my news feed and came upon this article about the world’s smallest chameleon being found in Madagascar. Being a wildlife fanatic, it immediately caught my interest. Just look at it: It’s small enough to perch on the head of a match!
Check out the full article on MSNBC and let me know what you think. Pretty cool, huh?

Gay Marriage

It’s a very controversial topic… But will we ever truly decide who’s right and who’s wrong? Sadly enough, we’ll never see the day that every man, woman and child comes to an agreement on every subject or matter. But seriously, is gay marriage a sin? Or, in another perspective, should it even matter?

Even in America, there are plenty of citizens who aren’t Christian. So why should we have to abide by Christian law? If not Christianity, then who says gay marriage is wrong?

And I’m not saying that all Christian churches are against gay marriage… But you have to admit: They do have a lot to do with it. More-so than any other religion.

The reason I’ve chosen this as my topic today is because the state of Washington has recently legalized gay marriage. Please share with me your thoughts and opinions on this matter.

Do you think gay marriage is wrong?

The Well of Inspiration

^Click me for daily inspiration!^

The well of inspiration

only runs so deep;

The high of our salvation

is as hollow as is cheap.

A soft sound vibration

leads you to its source;

A train at the station

due to run its course.

You never know the time

in this empty state of mind;

You never know when and if you’ll find

your relief.

But rest easy knowing

that the water’s always flowing;

The water of inspiration;

The river of creation.

When the well runs dry:

Close your eyes.

So tell me: What inspires you?

Whitney Houston’s Death

As I’m sure you all know, legendary pop icon Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel yesterday afternoon—just before the Grammy Awards (which she was scheduled to attend). What you may not know, however, is that she was found with prescription pills (Xanax) and had apparently been washing them down with alcohol. This combination has the potential to be life-threatening, which was obviously the case for poor Whitney.

She was forty-eight years old, born August 9th, 1963.

R.I.P. Whitney Houston. You will be forever remembered through your music.
